From 5278a4ea18dbb08ba5bf76768dc820879a13230d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Caleb Maclennan Date: Wed, 26 Feb 2014 13:39:39 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] update Arch install guide to use stable packages Encourage the use of the stable packages per disro norms. The devel packages can be used but they trigger full git clones in many AUR helpers and are generally a pain if you don't specifically want them for something. Mention the devel package but update the URLs to point to the one that uses the normal packaging system. --- README.md | 14 +++++++++----- 1 file changed, 9 insertions(+), 5 deletions(-) diff --git a/README.md b/README.md index c58810b..e74c27b 100644 --- a/README.md +++ b/README.md @@ -277,17 +277,21 @@ To install vcsh in Gentoo Linux just give the following command as root: #### Arch Linux -vcsh is availabe via [AUR](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=54164) +vcsh is available via [AUR](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/vcsh/) and further documentation about the use of AUR is available -[on Arch's wiki](https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository). +[on Arch's wiki](https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository).
