  16  The mr(1) command can checkout, update, or perform other actions on
  17  a set of repositories as if they were one combined respository. It
  18  supports any combination of subversion, git, cvs, bzr, and mercurial
  19  repositories, and support for other revision control systems can easily

  22  It is extremely configurable via simple shell scripting. Some examples
  23  of things it can be configured to do include:

  25   * Update a repository no more frequently than once every twelve hours.
  26   * Run an arbitrary command before committing to a repository.
  27   * When updating a git repository, pull from two different upstreams
  28     and merge the two together.
  29   * Run several repository updates in parallel, greatly speeding up
  30     the update process.
