madduck's git repository

Every one of the projects in this repository is available at the canonical URL git://git.madduck.net/madduck/pub/<projectpath> — see each project's metadata for the exact URL.

All patches and comments are welcome. Please squash your changes to logical commits before using git-format-patch and git-send-email to patches@git.madduck.net. If you'd read over the Git project's submission guidelines and adhered to them, I'd be especially grateful.

SSH access, as well as push access can be individually arranged.

If you use my repositories frequently, consider adding the following snippet to ~/.gitconfig and using the third clone URL listed for each project:

[url "git://git.madduck.net/madduck/"]

support for tracking repo deletions
[code/myrepos.git] / TODO
1 * more revision control systems
2
3 * support for tracking repo renames
4
5   It should be possible to tell mr that there used to be a repo at
6   src/foo/bar, and it's been moved to src/bar. mr would then detect if the
7   move needs to be done, and handle it. This is mostly useful when mrconfig
8   files are shared accross several systems.
9
10   [src/bar]
11   renamedfrom = src/foo/bar
12
13   (Support multple renames of a single repo?)
14
15 * mr register
16
17   Idea is you check out a repo and then use mr register to add it to the
18   closest mrconfig file.
19
20   mr register would be implemented as a shell command that then calls
21   mr config with flags that make it actually edit the mrconfig file:
22
23   if [ -d "$MR_REPO/.svn" ]; then
24         url=$(svn info "$MR_REPO" | grep -i ^URL: | cut -d ' ' -f 2)
25         if [ -z "$url" ]; then
26                 error "cannot determine svn url"
27         fi
28         mr -c "$MR_CONFIG" config --add "$MR_REPO" --checkout="svn co $URL"
29   fi
